Aspen Grove :
In Provo Canyon along the Alpine Loop, Aspen Grove is an amazing spot. In the summertime, it’s all green with tall beautiful grass, with the addition of great mountain views and really pretty aspen trees. Just park at the Aspen Grove trailhead and take a short dirt path walk to the field – super easy. And it’s usually not too crowded, which makes it even better.

The lower parking lot at Kyhv Peak is a great place to enjoy the stunning views of Provo Canyon and take some beautiful pictures. It’s conveniently close to the city, making it easy for everyone to access a fantastic vantage point to see the majestic mountains.
And if you time it just right you will find these beautiful yellow flowers covering the hills, making he most perfect backdrop.

Alpine loop is full of turn off with beautiful scenery! It’s like a colorful painting with changing leaves in fall and snow in winter. Take pictures of vast mountains, tall grass feilds, birch tree forests, and capture special moments with your camera. Buffalo Peak:
One of my favorite places to take photos up provo canyon is Buffalo Peak. With so many pretty wild summer flowers here in the early summer.
You have to drive on a very rocky road for about 15 minutes. It will make your car really dirty! Its worth it though if you are looking for tall grasses and stunning mountain views.

Big Springs Park:
Right up the road from Vivian Park is Big Springs Park. Its a wide open field with beautiful mountains surrounding it. As a result of the high mountains it does tend to get darker faster but if you get there during the sweet spot time it it full of bright stunning light!
